Christine Cohen returns to CVGS to share some genealogy resources among them the website Find My Past which has an extensive collection of information specific to the United Kingdom, plus Canada, Australia and New Zealand. We will explore resources including British and Irish Newspapers, Parish Registers, Workhouse and Poor Law records, Military records, Census records; including the just released 1921 schedules. Also, migration around the world by your ancestor throughout the British Empire.

Back by popular demand, Christine is a long-time member of the Whittier Area Genealogical Society (WAGS) and is currently the Program Director. We have enjoyed other very informative presentations in the past and are looking forward to another of her appearances. This month’s program will be an all Zoom format.
