The Standring Collection (Special Collection)

Our collection also includes a rare collection of genealogy books from the British Isles which resides inside a climate-controlled room in a different location within the library.  The “William and Patricia Standring Collection” — donated by the Standring family to the Conejo Valley Genealogical Society — receives special care as it consists of older, more fragile books. As they are kept with other Thousand Oaks Library “Special Collections” they are available to researchers by prior appointment only.

For access call the library at 805-449-2660 ext. 5.  Or visit the library website at www.tolibrary.org and access “Special Collections”.  This collection includes very rare and several one of a kind books on British Isles genealogy.  See the items in The Standring Collection.
