Sunny Vazquez-Ron McMullen

Sunny and her late husband Richard (Dick) McMullen were happily married for over 50 years and loved history and travel. They visited over 253 counties on all continents. Her favorite county was Mongolia. They were also the proud parents of two sons, Neil and Spencer, and seven grandchildren.

Genealogy was a lifelong interest. She especially liked Spanish and Latin American history and the genealogy of her own Spanish ancestors. She was always willing to help others, especially those with Spanish heritage.

Sunny was a dedicated member of CVGS and served as parliamentarian for many years, as well as being part of the by-laws committee. She also co-chaired the first CVGS DNA SIG. She will be deeply missed.
